Christ Cathedral Montessori School (CCMS) is located at Christ Cathedral Episcopal Church: 138 S. 8th Street, Salina, KS.
Tuition:
The cost to attend CCMS is $265 per child, per month starting in August and ending in May. A non-refundable $100 enrollment fee would be charged for each child enrolled to guarantee a spot in CCMS.

School Year:
Christ Cathedral Montessori School will be in session from September through mid-May. Our school will closely follow the USD 305 school calendar for breaks and closures due to inclement weather.
I am Molly Kierscht and I am a Co-Director/Facilitator at Christ Cathedral Montessori School. I started my teaching career at the original Christ Cathedral Montessori School in 2009 and feel blessed and grateful to re-establish the school here on this beautiful campus fall of 2020. I am married to Brandon and together we have 4 children, Aubrie, Libby, Ben, and Eli. When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and attending their many activities.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Childhood Development from Fort Hays State University, and have my Montessori teaching certificate from North American Montessori Center. I have my certificate in Godly Play and ZooPhonics and strongly believe in these added dimensions to our program. I have learned through my many years of Montessori teaching, that I am actually not the teacher but the child is. I believe that our faith-based Montessori program is one of a kind, where children choose work they are interested in and are able to master these concepts by repetition and move on to a new skill when they make that choice. With daily worship, we use biblical teachings to encourage grace and kindness in the classroom and in our community. I am grateful to be using my God given gifts to engage with children and set the foundation of education and instill a love of learning that they will carry with them through their future.
My name is Wendy DeArvil and I am a Co-Director/Facilitator for Christ Cathedral Montessori School. I have been blessed to work with children in many different environments since 1990. Since 2015 I have worked exclusively in Montessori education.
I received my associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Cloud County Community College and then went on to
receive my bachelor’s degree from Western Governor’s University. I received my Montessori certification from the North
American Montessori Center. I am married to an amazing man named Sheldon and have 3 grown children, Mason, Sierra, and Sydney, and am a proud grandma. I am excited to partner with you as your child begins their educational journey. I believe that together, with the Montessori method of education, we can help your child to grow in their independence, academics, grace, and courtesy, as well as emotional and spiritual well-being. My goal is to ignite a passion and excitement for learning that will carry your child well into their educational life.
My name is Nikole Bird. I am a classroom assistant and “cleaning lady” at Christ Cathedral Montessori School. My husband, Kenny, and I have four grown children: Spencer (Morgan), Colton, Cory (Sierra), and Sidney (Darren), and four grandchildren: Beau, Justin, Layne, and Silas with a fifth on the way. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the last 24 years and homeschooled our children for 15 years. During my homeschooling years, I was active in Smoky Valley Home Educators. I love this stage of childhood development and the Montessori philosophy, method, and application of education, and think it has many life-long benefits. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be in the classroom more this year and am looking forward to being a part of your child’s Montessori journey.
